Packing Instrument
The M5-Pack composite instrument of the M5 Restorative series is the main posterior instrument for applying/packing composite. Apply, adapt, or plug the composite to the wall than use the M5-Sculpt to sculpt.
Normally this instrument would have two ball burnishers, one big ball and one small ball – but the M5-PACK features one ball end and a flat-ended plugger . Thus, the composite does not roll over the plugger like it does on a ball burnisher. The instrument works better when applying larger amount of composite – using a ball burnisher alone can create voids.
